The International Relations Office helps international students and offers some interesting opportunities.

UPF Friend
This is a volunteer activity, involving UPF Brazilian undergraduate students, whose objective is to assist international students since the beginning of their planning to come to UPF,  academic issues and daily life in Passo Fundo.

Language Requirements
Portuguese is the main language of instruction at UPF. UPF does not ask for any result from official language tests. However, we strongly recommend that students nominated for exchange studies at UPF  have a good command of Portuguese (A2+ /B1  level according to the CEFR) in order to attend classes.

Portuguese as an Additional and Welcoming Language
The International students are required to take a course of Portuguese Language of 40 hours at UPF, aiming to support students with basic knowledge of the language with an emphasis on communication and culture.
