In addition to the laboratories directly involved in the teaching and research of food science and technology, there are other laboratories that have a support structure for the course. The UPF also has Chemistry laboratories, located at the Institute of Exact Sciences and Geosciences, Biology Laboratories of the Institute of Biological Sciences and the Transport Phenomena Laboratory of the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture (FEAR).
