SOCIAL INSERTION

The social insertion of PPGCTA is based on the actions of its professors and students as follows: insertion of professors in the Food Research Center - UPF as technical managers, in the interface with regulatory agencies, mainly the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Supply (MAPA) or Inmetro, in the insertion with food companies through Conecta UPF (UPF incubator and Scientific and Technological Park), in participation in fairs such as Expodireto and Agrotecnoleite, in interaction with high school and elementary students, who seeks PPGCTA and the Food Engineering Course to learn about the structure, courses or lectures, through the Producer Fair of the city of Passo Fundo, with the participation of students in actions with the community, in the organization of extension courses or lectures in the area of ​​food, with the participation of teachers and students in events and interaction with other institutions.
