Research Lines
The two research lines of the program are:
- Territorial Planning and Infrastructure Management
This research line approaches the themes related to the understanding of the territory occupation, as well as the planning, management and project of its infrastructure and the environment, aiming at the qualification of the relation between the natural resources and built environment in a perspective of sustainable development and life quality of the populations.
- Sustainable Infrastructure
The sustainable development of projects and infrastructure works require scientific and technological knowledge of the environment that reduce the negative impact on it. This line addresses themes connected with the conservation of the hydric resources and basic urban sanitation, as well as the studies related to the environmental geotechnics. This line also deals with the structure of the infrastructures and their sustainability.
